There are numerous achievement realized in the Dimcom Eden villa Estate. Some of them includes:
Visitors: From September 2007 (when we started keeping a visitors book) there are 550 visitors have logged in their very encouraging. This is an indicator of the farms impact to the society .the visitors becomes friends &hence plays a role in social cohesion.
Diversification: it is one of the small-scale diversified farming
Farms in the religion having been established in a semi arid zone,
it has more impact in that it encourage all plant can grow.
Returns:As opposed to growing of maize & beans which has
Been the tradition of the people on the religion, the farm has by far
better returns. this boost domestic cash flow
Environment conservation: Water, soil and general
Environmental conservation has been achieved. Indeed, we can
make this world a better place than we found.
Youth empowerment: Having started our endeavors as youth
(Still my wife is), I have empowered the youth in terms
of sensitizing them to realize that they can make a living from the
“Soil’’ positive feedback has been realized this is critical towards
Achievement of vision 2030. My niece (20 years) who lives with
me is just but an example.
Employment: Since there are permanent plants in the farm
Tractors are forbidden. This makes all types of work in farm be
carried out manually. This has created casual jobs for members of
Community my wife is the farm manager employed by “Eden Estate”
